Cloud Peak Energy Inc. Appoints Todd A. Myers as Head of Business DevelopmentGillette, WY, July 6, 2010 – Cloud Peak Energy Inc. (NYSE:CLD), the third-largest U.S. coal producer and the only pure-play Powder River Basin (PRB) coal company, announced that Todd A. Myers joined the company as Senior Vice President, Business Development on July 6, 2010. Myers has 14 years of experience with Westmoreland Coal Company and was most recently President of Westmoreland Coal Sales Company. Myers served in other senior leadership positions with Westmoreland in marketing and business development. Myers also spent five years with RDI Consulting, a leading consulting firm in the energy industry, where he led the environmental consulting practice. Myers earned his Bachelor of Arts in political science from Pennsylvania State University in University Park, Pennsylvania, and his Masters in International Management from the Thunderbird Graduate School of Global Management in Glendale, Arizona.
